Our company was established in 2012 as a railway rolling stock manufacturer within East Japan Railway Company Group, and was formerly Tokyu Car Corporation, a pioneer in stainless steel rolling stock.
In addition to providing many commuter trains under the “sustina” brand taking advantage of the manufacturing technology of the stainless steel railway vehicles , we design and manufacture a wide range of products, including Shinkansen trains, tourist trains, logistics containers, and railway vehicles for overseas markets, earning a high level of trust.

What is "sustina"?
The brand name “sustina” for our next-generation stainless steel vehicles is a coined term combining “SUS” (indicating stainless steel), “sustainable”, meaning easy to maintain for aesthetic purposes, and the suffix “-ina” from Roman mythology, signifying a goddess who saves the Earth.
